PENGARUH MODEL KOOPERATIF TIPE MURDER (Mood, Understand, Recall, Detect, Elaborate, Review) TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN BERPIKIR KRITIS DAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR IPA SISWA SMK
Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: (1) mendeskripsikan perbedaan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan motivasi belajar antara siswa yang belajar dengan model Kooperatif MURDER dengan siswa yang belajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran langsung. (2) mendeskripsikan perbedaan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa yang belajar dengan model Kooperatif MURDER dan siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran langsung. (3) mendeskripsikan perbedaan motivasi belajar siswa yang belajar dengan model Kooperatif MURDER dan siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran langsung. Penelitian eksperimen semu ini dilaksanakan di SMK N 2 Seririt tahun pelajaran 2013/2014, dengan rancangan Nonequivalent Post test Only Control Group Design dan Manova sebagai desain analisisnya. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas X di SMKN 2 Seririt berjumlah 172 siswa, dengan teknik random sampling diperoleh 112 siswa sebagai sampel. Data penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan dua instrumen, yaitu tes untuk keterampilan berpikir kritis dan kuisioner untuk motivasi belajar. Data yang diperoleh diuji menggunakan MANOVA. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (1) keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa dan motivasi belajar yang mengikuti model kooperatif MURDER lebih baik daripada siswa yang mengikuti model langsung. (2) keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa yang mengikuti model kooperatif MURDER lebih baik daripada siswa yang mengikuti model langsung. (3) motivasi belajar siswa yang mengikuti model kooperatif MURDER lebih baik daripada siswa yang mengikuti model langsung.

The study aimed at: (1) describing the difference of the skill of creative thinking and learning motivation between the students studying through MURDER cooperative model and the students through direct learning. (2) describing the difference of creative thinking skill of the students studying through MURDER cooperative model and the students studying through direct learning. (3) describing the difference of students’ learning motivation studying through MURDER cooperative model and the students studying thorough direct learning. This experimental study was carried out in SMKN 2 Seririt in the academic year 2013/2014, which was analyzed in Nonequivalent Post Test Only Control Group Design and MANOVA. The populations of the study were 172 tenth grade students of SMKN 2 Seririt. The samples of the study were 112 students gathered by using random sampling technique. The data were gathered by using tests to measure the skill of students’ creative thinking and questioners while the students’ learning motivation. The data gathered were analyzed by using MANOVA. The result of the study revealed that: (1) the skill of the students’ creative thinking and students’ learning motivation studying through MURDER cooperative model were better than the students studying through direct learning. (2) the skill of creative thinking studying through MURDER cooperative model was better than the students studying direct learning. (3) students’ learning motivation studying through MURDER cooperative model was better than the students studying through direct learning.
