PENGARUH MODEL SIKLUS BELAJAR 5E TERHADAP KREATIVITAS SAINTIFIK DAN LITERASI SAINS SISWA SMP
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Siklus 5E terhadap kreativitas saintifik dan literasi sains siswa. Populasi dalam penelitian ini semua siswa SMP N 2 Sukawati dan sampel sebanyak 128 orang siswa, yang dibagi mendjadi 2 kelompok, yaitu kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Kelompok eksperimen terdiri dari 64 prang siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model siklus belajar 5E. Sedangkan pada kelompok kontrol terdiri dari 62 orang siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran langsung. Data kreativitas saintifik dan literasi sains dikumpulkan menggunakan tes essay. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Mancova. Hasil Penelitian yang telah didapatkan antara lain: 1) terdapat perbedaan kreativitas saintifik dan literasi sains siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model siklus belajar 5E dan siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pengajaran langsung (Direct Intruction), 2) terdapat perbedaan kreativitas saintifik siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model siklus belajar 5E dan siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran pengajaran langsung (Direct Intruction) terdapat perbedaan kreativitas saintifik siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model siklus belajar 5E dan siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran pengajaran langsung (Direct Intruction), 3) terdapat perbedaan kemampuan literasi sains siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model siklus belajar 5E dan siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pengajaran langsung (Direct Intruction)

This research was aimed at investigating the effect of 5E learning-cycle model towards the students’ scientific creativity and science literacy. The population of the research were all of the students in SMP N 2 Sukawati. There were 128 students who were selected as the sample of the research. Those were divided into two groups, the experimental and the control group. There were 64 students in the experimental group who were taught by means of 5E learning-cycle model. Meanwhile, there were 62 students in the control group who were taught by means of direct instruction model. The data of scientific creativity and science literacy were gathered by means of essay test. The data are analyzed by means of Mancova. The result of the reseacrh are: 1) there are different ability of scientific creativity and science literacy of the students who are taught by means of 5E learning-cycle model compared with those who are taught by means of direct instruction model, 2) there are different ability of the students scientific creativity who are taught by means of 5E learning-cycle model compared with those who are taught by means of direct instruction model, 3) there are different ability of the students science literacy who are taught by means of 5E learning-cycle model compared with those who are taught by means of direct instruction model.
