PENGGUNAAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN AUDIOVISUAL DAN MEDIA GAMBAR TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR DITINJAU DARI MOTIVASI BELAJAR
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis: (1) perbedaan hasil belajar antara media audiovisual dengan media gambar. (2) pengaruh interaksi antara media pembelajaran dengan motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi eksperiment dengan rancangan The Non-equivalent Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Sapta Andika berjumlah 186 siswa, dengan sampel penelitian yang digunakan adalah 120 orang, yang terdistribusi kedalam empat kelas. Data motivasi dan hasil belajar dianalisis dalam dua tahap yaitu analisis deskriptif dan uji hipotesis dengan uji ANAVA. Hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara siswa yang menggunakan media audiovisual dengan skor rata-rata 73,68 dengan siswa yang menggunakan media gambar menunjukkan skor rata-rata 67,34 terhadap hasil belajar IPA. (2) terdapat interaksi pengaruh antara penggunaan media audiovisual dan media gambar dengan motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar IPA diperoleh nilai statistic F = 8,409 dengan angka signifikansi 0,004. Angka signifikansi tersebut lebih kecil dari 0,05. (3) terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara siswa yang memiliki motivasi belajar tinggi dengan siswa yang memiliki motivasi belajar rendah dilihat secara keseluruhan kelompok siswa yang memiliki motivasi tinggi menunjukkan skor rata-rata 71,87 dengan kualifikasi baik dan kelompok siswa yang memiliki motivasi rendah menunjukkan skor rata-rata 68,92 dengan kualifikasi cukup. Hasil uji scheffe disimpulkan bahwa media audiovisual efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa yang memiliki motivasi belajar tinggi.

The results of this study were (1) there was a significant difference between students who learned using audiovisual media (average score 73.68) with students who learned using the image media (average score 67.34) toward the learning achievement of science subject. (2) there was an interaction influence between the usage of audiovisual and image media with learning motivation toward science learning achievement which was obtained by statistic value F = 8,409 with significance number 0,004, it showed that the significance number is less than 0.05. (3) there was a significant difference between students who have high learning motivation with students who have low learning motivation. It could be seen from the whole group of students who have high motivation showed the average score of 71.87 with good qualification and groups of students who have low motivation showed the average score of 68.92 with sufficient qualifications. Based on Scheffe test result, it could be concluded that the audiovisual media effectively improve students’ learning achievement who have high learning motivation.
