STUDI KOMPARASI MODEL PROBLEM SOLVING DAN MODEL PROBLEM BASED LEARNING TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR DITUNJAU DARI SELF EFFICACY PADA SISWA

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menjelaskan perbandingan antara model pembelajaran problem solving dan model problem based learning terhadap hasil belajar ditinjau dari self efficacy siswa. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X yang berjumlah 274 siswa. Pengambilan sampel pada penelitian menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling yang terdiri atas 2 kelas eksperimen I dan 2 kelas eksperimen II. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan rancangan desain faktorial 2 x 2. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji ANAVA dua jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan; (1) terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar kimia siswa yang signifikan antara kelas eksperimen I dan eksperimen II pada materi reaksi redoks dengan nilai sig. 0,001, (2) pada siswa yang memiliki self efficacy tinggi, nilai sig. 0,033, dan (3) pada siswa yang memiliki self efficacy rendah, nilai sig. 0,041. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar model pembelajaran problem solving lebih baik dibandingkan model problem based learning dilihat dari self efficacy

This study aimed to describe and explain the comparison between the two models of learning toward learning achievement viewed from students self efficacy. The population of the study were all students of grade X which the total amount of 274 students. A sample was established using the cluster sampling technique consisting of 2 experimental classes I and 2 experimental classes II. This research was a quasi-experimental research with 2 x 2 factorial design. The data were collected through multiple choice test. Data were analyzed by using two-way ANAVA test. The results showed; (1) there is a significant difference of learning result between experiment classes I and experiment classes II on redox reaction material with significant score is 0,001, (2) in student having high self efficacy, a significant score is 0,033, and (3) in student having low self efficacy, a significant score is 0,041. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that learning achievement of problem solving model is better than problem based learning model viewed from self efficacy.
