PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF MURDER TERHADAP MOTIVASI BELAJAR DAN PRESTASI BELAJAR IPA SISWA SMP
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis (1) perbedaan motivasi belajar dan prestasi belajar IPA (fisika) antara kelompok siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif MURDER dan model pembelajaran konvensional (MPK), (2) perbedaan motivasi belajar antara kelompok siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif MURDER dan model pembelajaran konvensional, serta (3) perbedaan prestasi belajar IPA (fisika) antara kelompok siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif MURDER dan model pembelajaran konvensional. Penelitian eksperimen semu ini menggunakan rancangan Posttest Only Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Kuta pada tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Sampel dipilih dengan teknik simple random sampling. Data yang dikumpulkan dalam penelitian ini berupa motivasi belajar reliabilitas sebesar 0,737 dan prestasi belajar IPA (fisika) dengan reliabilitas sebesar 0,726. Data motivasi belajar dikumpulkan dengan kuesioner motivasi belajar dan tes prestasi belajar IPA (fisika) dikumpulkan dengan tes prestasi belajar IPA (fisika). Analisis data dilakukan dengan statistik deskriptif dan uji MANOVA yang dilanjutkan dengan uji Least Significant Difference. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) terdapat perbedaan motivasi belajar dan prestasi belajar IPA (fisika) antara siswa yang belajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif MURDER dengan siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran konvensional (F=38,070; p<0,05), (2) terdapat perbedaan motivasi belajar antara siswa yang belajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif MURDER dengan siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran konvensional (F= 45,731; p<0,05), serta (3) terdapat perbedaan prestasi belajar antara siswa yang belajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif MURDER dengan siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran konvensional (F= 46,833; p<0,05).

This study aims to analyze (1) differences in learning motivation and learning achievement of physics between the group of students who studied with MURDER cooperative learning model and conventional learning models, (2) the difference between the learning motivation of students who study with MURDER cooperative learning model and conventional learning models, and (3) the differences in learning achievement of physics between the group of students who studied with MURDER cooperative learning model and conventional learning models. This quasi-experimental research design using Posttest Only Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. The population of this research is all the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Kuta in the academics year 2013/2014. The samples selected by simple random sampling technique. The data collected in this study of the reliability of learning motivation is 0.737 and learning achievement is 0.726. The data were collected by questionnaire learning motivation and test learning achievement of physics. The data analysis was performed by descriptive statistics and MANOVA followed by Least Significant Difference test.
