PENGEMBANGAN PERANGKAT PEMBELAJARAN BIOLOGI BERBASIS NATURE OF SCIENCE (NOS) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PENGETAHUAN, KETERAMPILAN PROSES SAINS DAN SIKAP ILMIAH SISWA SMA KELAS X
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran biologi berbasis Nature Of Science (NOS) yang memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis dan efektif untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan, keterampilan proses sains dan sikap ilmiah siswa. Pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran menggunakan Model Dick and Carey (1990) yang telah dimodifikasi oleh Arnyana (2004) menjadi empat langkah yaitu: (1) analisis kebutuhan, (2) penetapan materi pembelajaran dan standar kompetensi yang akan dicapai siswa, (3) pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran, dan (4) uji coba perangkat pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah: (1) perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dinyatakan sangat valid berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli dan praktisi, dengan skor rata-rata validasi buku siswa 4, 36 dan buku pegangan guru 4, 38, (2) perangkat pembelajaran memenuhi kriteria antara praktis dan sangat praktis berdasarkan hasil keterlaksanaan perangkat pembelajaran, nilai rata-rata respon guru 4,22 dan respon siswa 4,55, (3) perangkat pembelajaran telah memenuhi kriteria efektifitas berdasarkan hasil ujicoba, yang ditunjukkan oleh aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran dan pencapaian kompetensi siswa. Hal ini terlihat dari nilai tes pengetahuan rata-rata 82,15 dengan ketuntasan belajar 91,30%. Nilai rata-rata keterampilan proses sains terjadi peningkatan dari 69,63 menjadi 84,13 dan sikap ilmiah dari 73,51 menjadi 89,81, dan berdasarkan uji t diperoleh nilai t hitung > t tabel.

This research aims to generate biology learning device based Nature Of Science (NOS) which fulfill the criteria valid , practical , and effective way to improve the knowledge , science process skills and scientific attitudes of students . Learning device development uses Dick and Carey Model of which has been modified by Arnyana ( 2004 ) into four steps as follows: (1 ) needs analysis, (2 ) the determination of the subject matter and competency standards to be achieved by students. (3) development of a learning device, and (4) the test learning device . The research results obtained: (1) the learning device developed a very valid based on the results of the validation experts and practitioners , declared with an average value validation student book 4.36 and teacher handbook with an average value of 4.38, ( 2 ) the device met the criteria between the practical and very practical based on the test results with an average value of teacher responses 4.22, and student responses 4.55 ,(3) The device meets the criteria for effective learning based on the test results which indicated by students in learning activities , student responses , and the achievement of students' knowledge competence both individually and classical . This is evident from the values obtained with the students average score of 82.61 mastery 91.30 % . Science process skills and scientific attitude of students increased from an average value of 69.63 into 84.13 and 73.51 into 89.81, and based on the t test values obtained t statistic > t table.
