KOMPARASI PENGARUH MODEL PBL DAN DISCOVERY LEARNING TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH FISIKA DAN KETERAMPILAN BERPIKIR KRITIS SISWA SMA
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbedaan kemampuan pemecahan masalah fisika dan keterampilan berpikir kritis antara siswa yang belajar dengan PBL, discovery learning, dan model pembelajaran langsung. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan desain posttest only control group. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas X MIA SMA Negeri 1 Amlapura tahun pelajaran 2015/2016. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas X MIA 3, X MIA 4, dan X MIA 5. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan MANOVA. Hasil analisis, menunjukkan: (1) Terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan kemampuan pemecahan masalah fisika dan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa yang belajar dengan PBL, discovery learning, dan model pembelajaran langsung (F=19,742; p<0,05). (2) Terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan kemampuan pemecahan masalah fisika antara kelompok siswa yang belajar dengan PBL, discovery learning, dan model pembelajaran langsung (F=16,479; p<0,05). (3) Terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa antara kelompok siswa yang belajar dengan PBL, discovery learning, dan model pembelajaran langsung (F=12,442; p<0,05).

This study aimed to analyzing the differences of physics problem-solving ability and critical thinking skills among students learn by PBL, discovery learning, and direct instructional. The kind of study was quasi-experiment which posttest only control group design. The population of study was students X grade of MIA SMA Negeri 1 Amlapura on academic year 2015/2016. The sample of study was X grade of MIA 3, MIA 4, and MIA 5. The data analyzed by MANOVA.
