Pengaruh model pembelajaran berbasis masalah terhadap motivasi belajar dan prestasi belajar IPA Siswa SMP
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran berbasis masalah terhadap motivasi belajar dan prestasi belajar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah (quasi-experiment) dengan Posttest Only Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. Populasi penelitian ini. Populasi penelitian ini menggunakan kelas VIII SMP Negeri Singaraja tahun ajaran 2015/2016 dengan jumlah populasi 422 siswa. Sampel yang digunakan berjumlah 72 orang. Uji hipotesis menggunakan tehnik MANOVA jalur dengan signifikansi 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 1) terdapat perbedaan motivasi belajar dan prestasi belajar antara siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dan dengan model pembelajaran langsung (F = 57,106 p < 0,05), 2) terdapat perbedaan motivasi belajar antara kelompok siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dan model pembelajaran langsung (F = 65,364 p < 0,05), (3) terdapat perbedaan prestasi belajar IPA antara kelompok siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dan model pembelajaran langsung (F = 69,939 p < 0,05).

The objectives of this study were effect of problem based learning model toward motivation and achievement learning science junior high students. This study belongs to (quasi-experiment) with posttest design Only Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. The population of the study was the all students Singaraja junior high school eighth grade in the school year 2015/2016 which consisted of 422 students. The sample of tis study consisted of 72 students. The hypotesis was tested by using MANOVA by significant was 0,05. The result of the study showed as follows,1) there was a significant differences in achievement motivation and science between group of students studying with problem based learning model and direct instruction models (F = 57,106 p < 0,05), and (2) there was a significant difference in motivation between group of students who study the problem based learning model and direct instruction models (F = 65,364 p < 0,05), (3) there was a significant difference the achievement of learning science between group of students studying with problem based learning model and direct instruction models (F = 69,939 p < 0,05).
