PENGEMBANGAN PETUNJUK PRAKTIKUM KIMIA BERBASIS GREEN CHEMISTRY UNTUK SMA KELAS XI SEMESTER GENAP
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan buku petunjuk praktikum kimia berbasis green chemistry yang memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa SMA kelas XI semester genap. Jenis penelitian ini termasuk penelitian pengembangan. Model pengembangan penelitian ini terdiri atas enam tahapan yaitu: 1) analisis kebutuhan; 2) desain produk awal; 3) validasi produk; 4) revisi produk; 5) uji coba produk; dan 6) revisi (produk akhir). Rancangan penelitian pre-experimental digunakan untuk menguji efektivitas, dengan desain penelitian One Shoot Case Study. Petunjuk praktikum kimia yang dikembangkan terdiri atas enam judul praktikum. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa produk yang dikembangkan telah memenuhi syarat kevalidan (skor rata-rata 3,58) dengan kategori sangat valid. Produk yang dikembangkan telah memenuhi syarat kepraktisan dilihat dari hasil observasi keterlaksanaan, respon guru dan juga didukung oleh skor rata-rata respon siswa (3,90) yang berada pada kategori sangat praktis. Selain itu, produk yang dikembangkan juga efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari persentase siswa yang memenuhi kriteria ketuntasan minimal (71,88%) yang berada pada kategori efektif. Selain itu, hal tersebut juga didukung oleh hasil penilaian aspek keterampilan dan aspek sikap yang berada pada kategori baik. Dengan demikian, petunjuk praktikum yang dikembangkan telah memenuhi kriteria kevalidan, kepraktisan dan keefektifan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.

The aim of this study was to develop a chemistry practicum manual based on green chemistry principles which fulfilled the criteria of validity, practicality and effectivity to improve the Grade 11 High School Student’s achievement in the second semester. The type of this study was Research and Development (R&D). The model of this study consists of six steps, namely: 1) need analysis; 2) initial product design; 3) product validation; 4) product revision; 5) product trial; and 6) revision (final product). Pre-experimental design was used to test the effectivity by using one shoot case study design. The manual book which was developed consists of six titles of practicum. The results of the study showed that the developed product has fulfilled the validity requirements (average score 3.58) which categorized as high validity. The developed product has fulfilled the practicality requirements, this could be seen from the observation result, teacher’s response, and also supported by the average score of the students’ response (3.90) which means very practical. Besides, the developed product also effectively improved students’ achievement. This can be seen from the percentage of the students who passed the minimum criteria (71.88%) that was in effective category. Besides, it also supported by the assessment result of physicomotor and affective aspect that were in a good category. Therefore, the developed practicum manual is fulfilled the criteria of validity, practicality and effectivity to improve students’ achievement.
