Pengembangan LKS Sains Pokok Bahasan Gaya dan Hukum Newton dengan Setting Inkuiri Terbimbing Untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Proses Sains
Abstract
Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan (research and development). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran berupa LKS sains pokok bahasan Gaya dan Hukum Newton dengan setting inkuiri terbimbing yang valid, praktis dan efektif. Model pengembangan menggunakan model 4-D yang dikembangkan oleh Thiagarajan (Thiagarajan et al, 1974) yang dimodifikasi menjadi 3-D yaitu Define, Design, Development. Validasi LKS dilakukan melalui Focus Group Discussion (FGD) oleh dua orang ahli media dan satu orang praktisi yang selanjutnya LKS divalidasi oleh sepuluh orang praktisi. Kepraktisan dinilai oleh dua orang guru dan siswa dan keefektifan LKS diuji melalui rancangan one group pre-test post-test design yang melibatkan 36 orang siswa. Analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif tentang validitas dan kepraktisan. Efektivitas LKS dilakukan dengan one group pre-test post-test design dan dianalisis dengan uji t pihak kanan. Dari hasil penelitian dan pengembangan diperoleh : 1) validitas LKS berada pada kategori sangat valid dengan skor rata-rata validitas 3,56, 2) kepraktisan LKS berada pada kategori sangat praktis dengan skor rata-rata keterlaksanaan LKS dalam pembelajaran 3,61, rata-rata nilai penilaian guru 3,77 dan skor rata-rata penilaian siswa 3,75, 3) keefektifan LKS dapat dilihat dari skor perubahan sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan LKS inkuiri terbimbing. Hasil uji gain skor keterampilan proses sains siswa mengalami peningkatan sebesar 0.65 yang berada pada kategori sedang. Hasil uji t menunjukan keterampilan proses sains memiliki thitung 18,167 dengan p < 0,05 sehingga Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak. Ini berarti LKS sains dengan setting Inkuiri Terbimbing efektif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains siswa.

The purpose of research is to produce instructional devices as science student worksheet on subject of Force and Newton Law with guided inquiry setting that is valid, practical and effective. The development model is the 4-D by Thiagarajan (Thiagarajan et al, 1974) that is modified into 3-D those are Define, Design, And Development. The worksheet validation was done through Focus Group Discussion (FGD) by two media experts and one practitioner, which was then validated by ten practitioners. Practicality was assessed by two teachers and students and the effectiveness of student worksheet was tested through a one group pre-test post-test design involving 36 students.. Data analysis was done by quantitative descriptive analysis of validity and practicality. The effectiveness of student worksheet is done by one group pretest posttest design and analyzed by right side t test. The results of research and development obtained: 1) the validity of worksheet is in the category of very valid with the average score of validity 3.56, 2) worksheet practicality is in the category very practical with average score of worksheet implementation in learning 3.61, the average score of teacher assessment 3, 77 and the average student assessment 3.75, 3) the effectiveness of worksheet can be seen from the score changes before and after using guided inquiry worksheet. The result of gain test of student science skill score has increased by 0.65 in the medium category. The result of t test shows the of science process skill have t count 18,167 with p <0,05 so Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. This means the science student worksheet with the guided Inquiry setting is effective to improving students' science process skills.
