PENINGKATAN SELF EFFICACY GURU DAN KUALITAS PEMBELAJARAN IPA MELALUI PELAKSANAAN LESSON STUDY
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan (1) kualitas pelaksanaan lesson study, (2) peningkatan self efficacy guru, dan (3) peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran IPA. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru IPA SMP Negeri 4 Singaraja yang berjumlah 4 orang. Objek Penelitian ini adalah kualitas pelaksanaan lesson study, self efficacy guru, dan kualitas pembelajaran IPA. Data dikumpulkan dengan kuesioner, observasi, dan wawancara. Triangulasi dilakukan untuk keabsahan dan keajegan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) kualitas pelaksanaan lesson study di SMP Negeri 4 Singaraja berkualifikasi sangat baik, (2) self efficacy guru IPA mengalami peningkatan dari sebelum lesson study dengan nilai rata-rata 65,26 yang berada pada kualifikasi cukup dan setelah lesson study dengan nilai rata-rata 85,15 yang berada pada kualifikasi sangat baik (nilai gain ternomalisasi 0,60), dan (3) kualitas pembelajaran IPA mengalami peningkatan dari sebelum lesson study dengan nilai rata-rata 57,55 yang berada pada kualifikasi cukup dan setelah lesson study dengan nilai rata-rata 82,55 yang berada pada kualifikasi baik (nilai gain ternomalisasi 0,58).

This study aimed to describing (1) the quality of implementation of lesson study, (2) teacher’s self efficacy, and (3) quality of science learning. This study used case study approach. The method of study was descriptive qualitative. The subject of this study was science teachers in SMP Negeri 4 Singaraja which four teachers. The object of this research was quality of lesson study, teachers self efficacy and the quality of science learning. The data were collected trought questioner, observation, and journal. Triangulation was done for truth and relevancy all of the data. The result of study indicated that: 1) The quality of lesson study which was done in SMP Negeri 4 Singaraja is categorized as excallent, 2) self efficacy of science teacher was increase with the average 65.26 which categorized enough before lesson study and 85.15 which categorized excallent after lesson study (normalized gain score 0,60), and 3) quality of science learning was increase with the average 57.55 which categorized enough before lesson study and 82.55 which categorized good after lesson study (normalized gain score 0,58).
